Join us on Tuesday, November 8 at Trident Technical College from 7:00-11:00 a.m. This year’s event features a nationally recognized expert on business engagement with public education and a panel of regional leaders who are united behind mobilizing this community to prepare our students for the workforce of tomorrow.
The keynote speaker is Marc Hill, chief education officer at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. Nashville’s turnaround of its schools over the past 10 years has been recognized as a national model by Ford Motor Company. Hill will discuss Nashville’s cohesive, community-wide effort to improve its schools and the resulting economic impact on the region.
The panel will address the need for a unified effort to improve schools and learning opportunities in the tri-county area. These experts will also give insight into how their own organizations are aligning to work together for successful education reform.
